Entry kali ini adalah sama dgn yg terdapat di my facebook. Some facts that u need to know about gelatin, since it has a very WIDE application in the food that we're consuming.

kenapa gelatin digembar gemburkan? sbb ia dibuat mostly from pig sources,n also from bovine yg tidak dpt dipastikan whether pnyembelihan halal atau tidak. plus it has a very2 WIDE application-in food, pharmaceutical n also photographic area.


warna gelatin slightly yellow to light tan in color, ianya adlh substance yg tasteless dan odorless, which is good since ia xmengubah rasa makanan yg dibubuh gelatin


molecular structure gelatin..hehe
gelatin ialah substance yg sgt2 unik n extraordinary.
why? it is multifunctional,easy to use, easily digest,low calories,produce great mouth feel(esp in icecream) dan tiada satu pun gelatin dari marine sources n plant yg setanding dgn gelatin from pig stakat ni.n the most important, low in cost.
so, do u really think some food manufacturers will bersusah-payah to use other substance to replace gelatin despite so much good properties n benefits that it brings??

aiskrim yg tidak mengandungi gelatin mudah cair dan mempunyai tekstur yg kasar..

jelly..ada dua jenis gelatin, type A and type B.
Gelatin jenis A biasanya terdiri daripada sumber haiwan porsine atau tidak halal iaitu babi. ia boleh menghasilkan kuantiti gelatin yang banyak dan berkualiti.
Untuk gelatin jenis B pula, ia menggunakan sumber tulang serta kulit-kulit haiwan bovine seperti lembu, kambing dan kerbau.


anyway, gelatin yg dihasilkan dari haiwan lain, sdikit kuantitinya berbanding gelatin dr pig. so the question of halal arised here sdgkan gelatin has a very wide application. plus,till now Malaysia masih belum dapat menghasilkan gelatin sendiri. semuanya imported.


Antara nama gelatin yang biasa digunakan pada label sesuatu produk adalah gelatin, gelatin halal, bovin gelatin, gum base, pengemulsi, penstabil dan E441.

ada juga dlm nail polish..no wonder lh klu batu kerongsang tertanggal blh guna nail polish utk lekatkn balik


gelatin filter holder. salah satu uniknya gelatin ni ia thermoreversible..apa tu? thermo=suhu, reversible=boleh kembali pada asal(tak tepat sgt, xdpt nk pk maksud dlm bm but i guess u guys know the meaning). maknanya bila let say kta guna gelatin buat jeli, pastu bila jeli tu dah keras, kta boleh panaskan balik dan ia boleh cair kembali..cuba buat kat jeli yg guna agar2 as gelling agent. dah jadi jeli ke agar2 for sure tak boleh panaskan n jadi cair balik kan.


nak tau mcmana tekstur gelatin actually? cuba beli gelatin halagel ni and try...so u can compare wif other jelly or pudding whether they put gelatin or not.
anyway, lbih prefer agar2 atau tpung kastad ke utk buat jeli, puding..gelatin punya tekstur xbest sgt utk buat bnda2 ni.buat trifle sedaplah.


a very2 good and interesting book..dlm buku ni ada dikupas mgenai kebanyakan bahan dlm makanan yg slalu digunakn ttapi syubhah.
sbb tu it's preferable for us utk mkn dirumah..kurgkan mkn diluar.lbih terjamin kebersihan dan plg penting ke'halal'annya.
